The workflow, as it stands at launch: upload a STEP file, the platform's engine parses geometry, applies machining logic and manufacturing rules (hole depths, wall thickness, undercuts, achievable tolerances per process), and returns a quote plus implied lead time — with the company claiming actual part delivery in days rather than the months typical of traditional job-shop sourcing. It's positioned as infrastructure for people who need CNC parts now, not a marketplace where you wait for shops to bid.

Pricing: Not Published, and That's Worth Noting

As of this writing, OpusFab does not publish tiered pricing, subscription plans, or a rate card anywhere on its site. If you're an engineer who's tired of the quote-revise-requote loop on custom machined parts and you have a STEP file ready to test, there's very low friction to trying OpusFab — upload a file, see what number comes back, and judge the quote against what you'd expect to pay a local job shop or Xometry for the same part. The value proposition is narrow and clear: speed of feedback during design iteration, not necessarily the lowest unit price at volume.
